Over the Years
1940
Founded
Lyle and Bernice Ragan owned Harry’s Bicycle & Key Shop, which combined a Schwinn shop, small engine repair, hobby supplies and key services. The store was located at 7915 Santa Monica Blvd. Los Angeles 46, CA.
1949
Moved to Washington
Lyle and Bernice Ragan moved Harry’s to Vancouver, WA. Their original location was 2006 Main St.
1981
Harry’s becomes three separate businesses
Harry’s Bicycle & Key Shop split into three businesses: Harry’s Key, Harry’s Bikes and Harry’s Lawn and Power.
1984
Harry’s Key Shop is acquired by Dennis Gesler
Charles T. Alsop buys Harry’s from Lyle. Shortly thereafter, Dennis acquires Harry’s from Charles and settles Lyle’s remaining balance.
1995
Harry’s is introduced to the Werbowski Family
Dennis Gesler sells half of Harry’s Key to Dave Werbowski, who brings in his nephew, Patrick Werbowski.
1996
Honoring 28 Years of Trusted Locksmith Service
Relocated to 2213 Main St., Vancouver, WA 98660, where we dedicated 28 years to providing locksmith services to Vancouver and the surrounding areas.
1997
Pat Werbowski joins Harry’s
Dennis Gesler sells his ownership to Pat Werbowski.
1999
Brothers become owners
Dave Werbowski passed ownership to his son, Mike Werbowski, who is also Patrick’s brother.
2023
East Vancouver is opened
Harry’s moves to a larger location at 508 SE 117th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98683, continuing to serve Vancouver and nearby areas with commercial, residential, and automotive locksmith services.
2024
New location downtown opened
Harry’s proudly opens its newest downtown location at 2311 Main St, Vancouver, WA 98660, returning to Main Street to better serve the community.
